I’ve been working with Nicky for 30 years. Every single occasion I work with her, I learn so much. She’s so professional and she’s knowledgeable. She knows exactly where I am as a leader in the school and where our school is and she always works with us to make sure we do our jobs as best as we can so that we can support all our lovely tamariki for them to do the best they can in life.
Sarah is the current principal of Riverhills School in East Auckland.
With over twenty years of experience in school leadership roles, Sarah brings a wealth of experience to her practice.
Sarah is involved in supporting school leaders across the Howick and Pakuranga (HPPA) cluster through her involvement in the exec in a pastoral care role. She also oversees the cluster’s own programme for provisionally certificated teachers, leading the programme’s planning and delivery to support the development of effective teachers across the area.
Sarah is passionate about using technology to simplify practice, and to enhance teaching and learning. She is at the forefront of the leadership of school-wide implementation of practical strategies for using Artificial Intelligence (AI), and sees huge potential for ways that AI can help educators and students to develop agency, creativity and critical thinking skills.
